By accessing or using the Cuvo application ("App") or the cuvo.app website ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Website.

2. Description of Service

Cuvo is a conversation assistant that provides real-time transcription and AI-generated coaching cues. The App is available on macOS and iOS. Transcription is performed on-device using Apple's speech recognition framework. Coaching cues are generated by AI models, either on-device or via cloud services depending on your settings.

Cuvo does not require user accounts. Device authentication is handled through Apple's AppTransaction framework. Access to beta versions is provided through Apple TestFlight. Cuvo LLC ("we", "us", "our") reserves the right to modify or discontinue access at any time.

Cuvo supports optional integrations with third-party services including HubSpot, Pipedrive, Notion, Google Docs, and Google Calendar. By connecting these services, you authorize Cuvo to access data from those services as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

6. AI-Generated Content

Coaching cues and suggestions provided by Cuvo are generated by AI models and are intended as general guidance only. They do not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or other specialized advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions taken based on Cuvo's suggestions. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation.

7. Transcription Accuracy

Speech recognition is performed by Apple's on-device framework. Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality, language, accent, and environmental factors. Cuvo does not guarantee the accuracy of any transcription output.

The App, Website, and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by Cuvo LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App or Website without our prior written consent.

Your use of Cuvo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data. By using Cuvo, you consent to the data practices described in that policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and Website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cuvo LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App or Website.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Continued use of the App or Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page.
